Deputy Director, DMH Division of Inpatient Services, Versie J. Bellamy, DNP

The South Carolina Senate has issued a resolution honoring Deputy Director, DMH Division of Inpatient Services, Versie J. Bellamy, DNP, on the occasion of earning a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and to applaud her for her tireless efforts to offer exemplary healthcare services.

Dr. Bellamy, who has been with SCDMH since 1988, has served as director of Division of Inpatient Services since 2009. Previously, she served as Quality Assurance Coordinator and Nurse Administrator for the SC State Hospital, Quality Improvement Consultant for SCDMH, Nurse Executive for Bryan Psychiatric Hospital and the Columbia Behavioral Health System, and Chief of Staff and Chief Nursing Officer for DIS.
